More Events To End The Summer With.

Here at Blue Mountain Guitar Center we really prize Music Education. Exciting new academic research is now available proving that learning and playing a musical instrument uses both the left and right side of the brain simultaneously. How cool is that?
To that end we have some exciting news:
1 - We are co - sponsoring a drum clinic with master drummer Danny Seraphine. He first turned heads as the drummer for the band Chicago and is now the drummer for CTA. This exciting clinic is taking place on Saturday August 6th at the Tupelo Music Hall in White River Junction Vermont at 5:00pm. The clinic is free to anyone who has also purchased a ticket to see the CTA show following the clinic at 8:00pm. Our own Bob Sparadeo will be on hand at Tupelo to help with giveaways during the clinic.
2 - Just in case you guitarists are feeling a bit jealous because of the two drum clinics remember that we are Blue Mountain Guitar Center and Blues Guitarist Scott Holt will be here at Blue Mountain on Friday September 9th at 2:00pm to give a master class on the guitar. Scott was the musical director for Blues Legend Buddy Guy and is a "monster" on the guitar in his own right. Currently touring, Scott has graciously consented to share his love, passion, and knowledge of the guitar with us in early September. Please come in and sign up for what promises to be a master class not to be missed! We'll have even more details about this opportunity as we get closer to Labor Day.
3 - As if that weren't enough - Come out to support New London Hospital who along with Blue Mountain is sponsoring a battle of the bands this Saturday August 6th just south of us in New London NH. The current band list is up to 10 bands that will be competing for the chance to win a $500.00 gift certificate from Blue Mountain. These are all up and coming musicians and there is sure to be some great music and fun at the New London Hospital Day in New London. So come on out and support both the hospital and these musicians, plus there will be a parade etc..
